Oversee the purchasing department and monitor all inventory levels. Ensure materials are purchased based on demand. Evaluate and source vendors for the best pricing and term contracts. Work with vendors to ensure proper delivery of merchandise. Trouble-shoot problems as they arise.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience in a retail distribution environment.
- Must be computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Five + years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in consumer electronics purchasing or retail environment preferred.
- Experience with QAD’s MFG/Pro preferred.

Assist Marketing by undertaking assigned marketing support projects such as market research, analysis, and report writing; preparing marketing communications and promotional materials; identifying and supporting trade shows and potential customer seminars, as required.

- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong presentation and communication skills required.
- Computer literate including Excel and Power Point in order to prepare sales presentations and cost analysis.
