  1. Not impressed

Awkward design, not comfortable to wear, only compatible with their app and no others, which was a deal breaker for me, returning it to the store tomorrow.

  2. Good when it worked

I bought the first generation of this product. It worked good the app was bad thu, then they introduced the newer app along with new device. Old device start working great until it got wet. Then the online dashboard disappeared. There is only one guy (Tony) who support this product. I not encouraged to try this again.

  4. App crashes, device powers down

I have not been able to complete a single workout with this device. The armband shuts off even though the battery is full. The app crashes during workouts and also interferes with my music app running. I have tried repeatedly to connect to my Runkeeper account but the Rhythm app just goes blank when trying to log in to Runkeeper. Not sure of the accuracy of the heart rate because I can't get it to track for more than a mile or two before it shuts off. Total fail!

  6. Cool Monitor

I love the web app and use the rhythm everyday. It has helped my workouts feel a little less terrible lol and the music functions are pretty cool. I hope they update the app so that I can use Pandora with rhythm app though. 4 stars!

  7. doesn't work when moist

i had ran less than 1 mile before my heart rate started reading "63" down from 170, i switched arms and it went back to 170 but shortly after feel to 80 then 69. totally worthless when moist, not even damp i hadn't even formed pit stains yet

  8. great monitor

I love my Scosche Rythm HRM. I had previously used a Polar Strap, which for the most part was accurate - would jump around if I was jumping around. I have not experienced this with my Rythm - I do not seem to lose contact with the armband. Armband is very comfortable and appears to be accurate when checked against the HR on the elliptical or treadmill. I'm never going back to the uncomfortable chest strap.

  9. Works great with Iphone

This device works great with an Iphone...only problem is I don't have an Iphone. I have a Samsung Charge. My girlfriend, who bought this for me, has an Iphone. It continually searches for my heart rate. Once it's able to connect, it's short lived. Any updates for the Android?

  10. Overall, 1st time was a success

I was previously a user of a Polar FT7. The stap was becoming annoying and did not always work. My motivation for buying the RHYTHM was for the ease of use and the APP features. I like that is syncs with MYfitness Pal. As far a the other complaints about accuracy it does tend to bounce around a bit in terms of BPM, meaning it will register 150 but sunddenly drop to 70. However after some adjustment of the strap I find that it works best on your inner forearm, just above your aterial vien. To check the accuracy I used the eliptical machine's built in sensors in tandem. They matched almost perfectly. So far, I am impressed and will continue to use. I haven't used the map feature so I can't comment on that. I did read that others are registering higher than average running speeds. Some people are using the unit while driving in the car. That will create innacuracies. You can monitor your heartbeat but do not hit start on an activity until you are actually doing it.

I look forward to future app updates.
