We are looking for an experienced IT Application Analyst to join our growing IT Team. In this position you responsible for assisting in the testing, maintenance and development of existing and new computer application systems. This position’s goal is to work as a team member to help our internal users and customers more effectively, utilize software applications to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner and making sure the applications remain stable and consistent.

 

IT Application Analyst

 

A few of the challenges you will face include:

 

• Conduct daily transactions and resolve issues as they occur.
• Maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) accounts
• Assist with new EDI account setup and testing
• Solve problems with QAD application issues
• Assist in application development and testing
• Create and maintain report requirements
• Install, implement and support software applications
• Analyze business requirements
• Assist with upgrades
• Analyze and coordinate project development and system maintenance requirements

 

 

To be successful in this position, you should have

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience in a related field
• Training in Progress Rollbase preferred
• Training in QAD Ecommerce preferred
• Maintaining and supporting software applications
• Working knowledge of XML, PHP, ASP.NET, SQL, MS SQL Server, SOAP, HTML5, C#, ERP/QAD, EDI, BI, SSRS, Java, Web Services, MVC, Web API, ETL, IIS, Linux
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Google Software

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Analyst to join our growing Purchasing Team. The Purchasing Analyst is a strong negotiator, understands the company's stock position and makes recommendations to improve or maintain our inventory levels. We're looking for someone who is great at spreadsheets, that can organize and analyze data and make suggestions for improvement regarding anything from spend to production to marketing. The Purchasing Analyst interfaces with key internal constituents, to understand our business needs from a purchasing perspective. This person has intellectual curiosity to learn, gather facts, ask questions and assume increasing levels of responsibility over time.

 

Purchasing Analyst

 

General Duties:

 

• Monitor weekly sales, purchase order activities, and incoming goods to best serve our customers and increase cost savings
• Analyze purchasing trends to identify market demand shifts. Collaborate with planning for any possible changes that might be needed to the forecast
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, evaluate and source vendors to negotiate best pricing, coordinate with international freight forwarders to track/monitor delivery, while protecting the company’s margin and reducing costs
• Assist with resolving purchasing issues related to delivery, payment, price discrepancies, incorrect goods or inadequate service
• Perform analysis for KPI reporting efforts, financial reporting, and any other ad hoc sales performance and inventory analysis that may be needed
• Support new product rollouts, involving the collaboration and the cooperation of multiple departments
• Work with a sense of purpose to meet or exceed all deadlines, with thoroughly reviewed results, reflecting superior attention to detail, minimizing the potential for mistakes
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally, while effectively communicating with Planning, Sales, Product Development, Fulfillment, and any other team involved with inventory control

 

You Definitely Haves:

 

• Expert-Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Expertise with Office and Google Suite, familiarity with Apps and standards utilized in an emerging growth company
• Outstanding organization and attention to detail
• Must have strong negotiation skills
• Proven analytical/purchasing background
• Able to manage ambiguity
• Strong attention to detail, confidence, ability to present data through storytelling
• Must work within assigned deadlines and be able to prioritize projects as needed
• Must be able to handle multiple projects (the website workload can often be heavy) and deal with multiple stakeholders at once, with light supervision
• Must be a self-starter
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willing to work a flexible schedule when necessary

Direct report to Digital Marketing & eCommerce Manager under the eCommerce Department

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain (or combination of education/experience may be considered)
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) - Preferred
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Preferred
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Preferred
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing/business analyst role
• Experience with QAD ERP, PIM2, BI software, smartsheet, and KiSSFLOW apps
• Working knowledge of the G Suite (Google Suite) of products
